WOC Tour – how to register for competition or open classes ?
With a bib number to the arena
The most anticipated orienteering events of 2025, the World Orienteering Championships and the WOC Tour (the Fin5 Orienteering Week), are just a few months away. The WOC Tour competitions have been synchronized with the World Championships, allowing participants to enjoy the excitement of the World Championships while cheering for their favorites. Did you know that your bib number grants you free access to the arena? The lower registration fee tier ends on December 31, 2024.
Two ways to register for competition classes
Via The Finland Orienteering Federation´s IRMA
FOF licensed orienteers and competitors with no FOF license can register through the orienteering Irma service.
Instructions for obtaining a license can be found on the Finnish Orienteering Federation’s website.
Via WOC2025 Shop
A competitors with no FOF license can also register via the Holvi online store. In Holvi, select the competition and the class you will participate in. The participation fee is paid in the Holvi online store. Registration is confirmed once the participation fee has been paid and you have received a confirmation. Registration details can be checked in the IRMA service.
How to register for open courses?
If you don’t want to compete too seriously…
The course setters have carefully considered skill levels and terrain usage, so the courses are also suitable for beginners and experienced speedsters. You can register for the open categories in advance or on-site. We recommend pre-registration! A registration for the open categories also grants access to the World Championships finals arena in Neulaniemi for the middle and long-distance events, as well as the Puijo relay finals.
Instructions for recreational classes can be found on the WOC Tour website.
Welcome to cheer on your favourites at the World Championship arenas in Tahko, Kuopio’s Neulaniemi, and Puijo!
