– Maailman cupin tv-tuotannossa kaikki on sujunut hyvin, laitteista ja yhteyksistä vastaava käyttömestari Videpe Oy:n Joel Helenius sanoo.

Kajaanilainen Videpe vastaa tv-tuotantotiimin teknisestä toteutuksesta. Yrityksellä on paljon kokemusta erilaisista maastotapahtumista. Heleniuksen arvion mukaan ensi kesän MM-kilpailujen tuotanto on kokoluokaltaan samankaltainen kuin nyt.

– Meillä on nyt yhteensä yli viisi kilometriä kamerakaapeleita maastossa. Jukolan viestit ovat tuotantoina vielä paljon suurempia.

Nyt paikalla olevassa tv-tuotantotiimissä on paljon kokemusta myös olympialaisista. Kansainvälinen osaaminen näkyy tuotannon laadussa.

– Olemme saaneet hyvää palautetta esimerkiksi juoksukameroiden työskentelystä, sillä kuvaajamme pysyvät hienosti kilpailijoiden perässä, Helenius sanoo.

TV production ready for the new day

– In the TV production of the World Cup, everything has gone well, says Joel Helenius of Videpe Oy, the operator responsible for devices and connections.

Videpe from Kajaani is responsible for the technical implementation of the TV production team. The company has a lot of experience in various off-road events. According to Helenius’ assessment, the production of next summer’s World Cup competitions will be similar in size to now.

– We now have a total of more than five kilometers of camera cables in the terrain. Jukola relay is much bigger as production.

The TV production teamSA in Lastukoski has lot of experience with the Olympics as well. International know-how is reflected in the quality of production.

– We have received good feedback about the work of the running cameras, for example, because our cameramen keep up with the competitors very well, says Helenius.
