IOF Family Invitation
The World Orienteering Championships is set to be a spectacular event, taking place from 7 to 12 July 2025. This week promises thrilling competitions, special events, and a chance to connect with the global orienteering community.
Welcoming the IOF Family
The event extends a warm invitation to the esteemed IOF Family, which includes:
- National Federation Presidents and Secretary Generals
- National Federation Personnel and other Officials
- Organisers of past and upcoming IOF Events
- IOF Event Advisers and Senior Event Advisers
- Members of the IOF Council, Commissions, and Panels
- IOF Personnel, Medical Experts, Honorary Presidents, and Members
Registration Details
Registration for the IOF Family Accreditation, Family Dinner, and Family Race is now open on IOF Eventor. Be sure to create an account and follow the provided instructions to secure your spot. The deadline for registration is 31 May 2025. You can find the invitation as a pdf on IOF Eventor.
Accreditation fee
Your “early bird” accreditation fee as an IOF Family Member is 65€. The fee will be 80 €
after 28 February 2025.
This includes:
● 3-day-ticket to the finish arena (finals)
● Admission to the IOF Family area with services
● Drinks and snacks at the arena
● Competition maps
IOF VIP and Media Race
- Date: Tuesday, 8 July 2025
- Time: 3 PM – 5 PM
- Location: Tahko
This exciting race is open to IOF VIPs and Media representatives, offering a fantastic opportunity to showcase orienteering skills in a competitive setting.
IOF Family Dinner
- Date: Tuesday, 8 July 2025
- Time: 7 PM
- Location: Tahko
The dinner buffet promises a delightful culinary experience, including a starter, main course, dessert, and a welcome drink.
Payment
All payments (accreditation, IOF VIP and media race and IOF dinner) must be done via the Holvi online store before 31 May 2025.
Official hotel accommodation
Rooms are pre-reserved for IOF Family at the Break Sokos Hotel Tahko at the Event
Center. You can find all room prices from the pdf on IOF Eventor. Please, book your rooms directly with the hotel before 28 February 2025! All pre-reservations will be cancelled after this. There are a total of 70 rooms pre-reserved in the hotel. Standard rooms are more economic and the rest 59 rooms are in the newly renovated part of the hotel. The room rate includes access to the guest sauna, use of the gym, and a generous buffet breakfast. Parking behind the hotel is free of charge. The reservation block is valid from July 5 to July 14, 2025.
